A fun and successful tree planting activity was held at Trapeang Sangkae Commune in Kampot Province by the ATALIAN Global Services Cambodia team on 17th June 2022. There is a total of 180 mangroves that have been planted by 30 Atalian Cambodia volunteers.
This activity aimed at encouraging tree planting, mitigation of climate change effect, and improving benefits to the people living around them.
‘Trapeang Sangkae Community’ appears with beautiful forests and salt fields. The community is based on the idea of Eco-Tourism, which means “The Tourism with Sustainability of Nature”. Our contribution to nature can be precious not only for our memory but also for the life of Kampot’s people.
Planting mangroves can reduce shoreline erosion and can protect coastal communities against coastal flooding, high winds and waves, and tsunamis.
Atalian Cambodia is proud to participate in this simple act to support our environment and thanks to everyone who joined and participated. May these trees stand in tribute to a life well-lived.
